Low-Carb Beef Chilli
This low-carb beef chilli is one of our favourites! It's packed full of flavour, and you can easily adjust the spiciness to ensure it's a hit with the whole family.

- 500 g Beef mince
- 1 tin Chopped tomatoes
- 200 g Diced chestnut mushrooms
- 100 g Diced peppers
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 clove Garlic Crushed
- 1 small Red chilli Finely chopped
- 1 - 2 tsp Hot chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Ground coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp Ground cumin
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 20 g Lard
- 100 g Cheddar
Heat the lard in a saucepan and add the garlic, fresh chilli, coriander, cumin and paprika.
Cook gently for about 5 minutes.
Add the beef mince and cook for a further 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the rest of the ingredients, except the cheese.
Bring to the boil, cover with a lid and let simmer for about 1 hour. Stirring occasionally.
Serve immediately with grated cheese.
This dish will taste delicious the next day, and is great for when you pre-cook your meals! Just make sure you let it cool to room temperature before storing it in the fridge.
